Rock Pressure Monitoring System

Rock Pressure Monitoring SystemФото 2Фото 3
Description
Rock pressure is the stress within rock mass near walls of underground mine working faces and wells at places of rock support interaction and is caused mainly by gravity, as well as tectonic forces and temperature variation in upper layers of the Earth's crust.

Commonly rock pressure reveals itself as rock deformation which results in rock rigidity loss, pressure load on support, dynamic conditions (rock burst, sudden outburst). Rock pressure monitoring within mine working helps to make forecasts and choose methods to take rock pressure under control in time. Due to pressure transducers mounted in support posts the Rock Pressure Monitoring System ensures control of rock pressure on the support at the working face, and the decision how to control rock pressure can be made in time.

The system is developed on the basis of Dust Suppression System and uses its panels and data transmission channels.
